How Do I Request For A Very Good Tutor?
Simply complete the form above, and our friendly education specialists will shortlist suitable tutors for you to choose from.
Do I Have To Pay Any Extra Fees?
Very Good Tutor’s matching services are free-of-charge for our clients. Clients are only required to pay for lessons that have been arranged and conducted. The first 2 weeks of lesson fees (or otherwise stated) are usually allocated to Very Good Tutor as the agency’s commission for the arrangements. This amount will be deducted from the tutor’s fees.
What Are The Types of Tutors Available?
We have 3 main types of tutors available, Part-Time Tutors, Full-Time Tutors and EX/Current MOE Teachers.
Do You Provide Trial Lessons?
Yes we do provide trial lessons. These trial lessons are chargable on a per-lesson basis. If you decide not to continue with a tutor after the trial lesson, you will only be required to pay the fees incurred for the 1st lesson.
What If The Tutor Is Not Suitable?
If the tutor selected isn’t the right fit, Very Good Tutor will gladly arrange a replacement at no extra cost. While such situations are uncommon—thanks to our commitment to providing top-quality tutors—any lessons completed with the previous tutor will still be chargeable. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we’re here to ensure you find the best match for your learning journey.
What If I Need To Reschedule My Lesson?
If you need to reschedule the first lesson, please inform us at least a day in advance. Failure to provide this notice will incur a charge of 50% of the first lesson’s fee to cover the tutor’s time and transportation costs.
Should you need to reschedule outside our working hours (Mon-Sun, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm), please contact the tutor directly to arrange a new time.

Welcome to Very Good Tutor!
By using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Please read them carefully to understand the terms of our tuition matching service.
1. Tutor Matching and Trial Period
1. Tutor Matching and Trial Period
After submitting a tutor request form, Very Good Tutor will recommend a suitable tutor based on the requirements provided.
Clients may choose to take a trial lesson with the selected tutor. In this case, only the first lesson fee will be required upfront.
If the client decides to continue after the trial, the second lesson fee will be collected by Very Good Tutor.

Very Good Tutor requires payment for the first two lessons as an upfront commitment.
For trial lessons, clients are only obligated to pay for the first lesson initially. If the tutor arrangement continues, payment for the second lesson will be required.
Subsequent payments after the first two lessons should be made directly to the tutor. Very Good Tutor is not responsible for payments beyond the initial two lessons.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 4 hours before the lesson. Failure to provide this notice will result in a 50% charge of the lesson fee to cover the tutor’s time and travel expenses.
Rescheduling requests made outside of Very Good Tutor’s business hours (Mon-Sun, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM) should be coordinated directly with the tutor.

If the assigned tutor is not a good fit, Very Good Tutor will arrange a replacement tutor at no extra cost. However, clients are required to pay for all lessons conducted by the previous tutor.
Replacement requests are rare, as Very Good Tutor is committed to matching clients with high-quality tutors suited to their needs.

Fees for completed lessons are non-refundable.
In the event of a cancellation before the first lesson, any prepaid fees will be refunded, minus administrative charges, if applicable.
Refunds for any lesson fees paid after the first lesson will not be issued once the client commits to continuing with the assigned tutor.

Very Good Tutor acts solely as a matchmaker between tutors and clients and is not liable for any issues arising between tutors and clients after the matching process.
Clients and tutors are responsible for all arrangements, including the schedule, payment (post-trial), and any agreements beyond the initial matching.

Very Good Tutor respects your privacy. All personal information provided by clients and tutors is handled in compliance with Singapore’s data protection laws.

Very Good Tutor reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients and tutors will be notified of any significant changes.
